We (all 5 of us) then headed upstairs to the dining room only to be received by an abrupt "You need to see the guy downstairs!" The person at the front desk answered in such a haughty voice that I was stunned. I experience raw arrogance, dismissiveness, and a quit-bothering-me attitude. I hate to admit it, but the quality of service has deteriorated over the past year or more; my last visit a couple of months ago, was awkward and not enjoyable. Can remember going there for a fantastic buffet brunch a few years ago, but over the past few years I've only gone 2 or 3 times and have been barely impressed. The atmosphere was more like a boardroom decor, but the view is second to none in the city. The service was friendly and adequate, but the food was average at best - certainly nothing memorable. Enjoyed one of their beers, that are brewed on site. Our waiter was flawless, no joke...very attentive, professionally friendly and provided A1 service! All the staff seem very well-trained.
